Cables
✔ Inspect cables to ensure they roll correctly and smoothly
✔ Check cables for cuts, fraying, kinks, or improper spooling
Lift Structure & Support
✔ Inspect bunks for wear or needed adjustment
Electrical & Controls
✔ Check wiring for cuts or damage
✔ Test lift functions at both the switch and remote
Full Lift Operation Test
✔ Run lift fully down and fully up to verify proper positioning
✔ Check for smooth, even movement during operation
✔ Listen for unusual noises or signs of strain
Lubrication
✔ Grease all serviceable fittings on the lift (up to 13 total points)
Belts, Pulleys & Drive System
✔ Inspect belts and pulleys for wear or damage
✔ Ensure belt is properly tensioned
✔ Check pulley alignment to prevent uneven wear
✔ Inspect pulleys and recommend replacement if needed
✔ Replace drive belt if signs of wear or cracking are found
✔ Inspect drive plate for signs of wear
✔ Make sure all sheaves (pulleys) are turning freely
