A Simple, Clean Waterfront Built for Summer Fun
For this Lake Conroe homeowner, the goal was to replace an aging bulkhead and create a clean, functional waterfront that maximizes both durability and lake views. The result is a modern steel bulkhead paired with a streamlined aluminum dock system that provides easy access to the water without obstructing the home’s expansive views.
Built for family gatherings, boating, and summer fun, every element of this project was designed to be low-maintenance, highly functional, and built to last.
Steel Bulkhead Construction
The original bulkhead had reached the end of its service life and was no longer providing the shoreline protection the property needed.
Our team installed a new 160-foot steel bulkhead, creating a strong, long-lasting barrier against erosion while providing a clean finished edge along the waterfront. The new steel system offers superior durability and helps protect the property for years to come.
Aluminum Dock Construction
To complement the new shoreline, we built a 10′ x 40′ aluminum dock that delivers both function and simplicity.
The aluminum design provides a clean, modern appearance while minimizing maintenance requirements. With an open layout and unobstructed sight lines, the dock enhances the property’s waterfront experience without taking away from the view.
Custom Design and Dock Construction
Every heavy duty aluminum docks project we build is custom designed around the homeowner’s waterfront needs, boat size, and property layout. This Walden project required extensive planning and specialized construction methods due to the scale of the structure.
Because of the size of the dock, construction had to be performed from the water side to properly drive the large aluminum support posts into place. This approach allowed our team to safely construct the dock while ensuring long-term structural stability.
Sure Step Dock Surface
Safety and comfort were important considerations throughout the project.
The dock was finished with Sure Step decking, providing a durable, slip-resistant surface that remains comfortable underfoot during hot Texas summers. The result is a dock that’s as practical as it is attractive.
Aluminum Stairs
Easy water access was achieved with a custom set of aluminum stairs leading directly from the dock into the lake.
Designed for durability and corrosion resistance, the stair system makes swimming, relaxing, and enjoying the water more convenient for family and guests.
Viking Jet Ski Lifts
To complete the waterfront setup, we installed two Viking Jet Ski Lifts.
The lifts provide convenient watercraft storage while helping protect the owner’s investment from unnecessary wear and exposure. They’re easy to use, dependable, and keep the dock area organized and ready for action.
